The client’s challenge
FLEXGUARD®, a subsidiary of Hunter, produces an advanced range of protective gear that sets the benchmark for safety and injury risk reduction. They approached us to create a compelling new digital presence that mirrors their reputation as trusted industry innovators.
The core challenge was designing a platform tailored directly to key decision-makers within the public services and private security sectors. FLEXGUARD® needed a way to present their brand as original, dependable, and future-focused, while seamlessly showcasing complex technical product features to an audience that demands absolute reliability.
The Peekaboo plan
Following a discovery phase with the Hunter team, we established a strategic direction that balanced FLEXGUARD®’s standalone identity with Hunter’s overarching corporate vision. We chose a streamlined, single-page architecture that placed the focus firmly on powerful, high-impact visuals.
Drawing inspiration from the dark, sleek aesthetic of the tactical guards themselves, we established a moody, high-tech visual language. We paired this with forward-facing typography influenced by sci-fi and gaming interfaces, layering purposeful motion design into the experience to give the site the responsive feel of a digital control console, from large desktops down to a mobile screen.
The results
Today, FLEXGUARD® is firmly established at the cutting edge of personal protective equipment. As an award-winning product, it now boasts a striking digital presence that commands attention in a competitive market.
The success of this launch paved the way for a lasting partnership. Following the site’s deployment, Hunter extended our brief to include their primary corporate website. We continue to work closely with their team, providing ongoing strategic direction to continually elevate their wider digital experience.
