Energizer® is an American company and one of the largest manufacturers of batteries in the world. It produces batteries under the Energizer, Rayovac, Varta, and Eveready brand names. Peekaboo was invited by Brandpoint, Energizers’ brand and strategic partner to help build and optimise the European website, one of the most technically challenging projects we have ever worked on.
From the start we were very excited about working with such a prestigious client and project. Armed with the stunning visuals from Brandpoint we set to work on a website build that required a lot of planning as we needed to set up a WordPress Multisite that allowed access for 40 stakeholders from 40 countries to have access to their specific country areas, whilst sharing content on other sections and integrating translation options for all 40 countries.
As the new website had to work seamlessly across all devices and platforms, we tested and refined across 18 different devices covering a huge spectrum to ensure the website responds to whatever device and environment it’s being viewed on, and gives the most optimised user experience for that environment. This collaboration successfully delivered the new website with immense success.
We used Peekaboo to create and manage probably the most complex and challenging web build I have ever seen, coupled with a challenging and unforgiving global client. Throughout the process the Peekaboo team were tremendous in every aspect; unrivalled digital expertise, a calming influence, understanding and reacting to numerous project changes and an amazing can-do attitude. The results – A happy client, the analytics of the website are phenomenal and the user experience on any device is superb.
